The issue is abortion which is the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy. We believe that women should have the right to choose whether or not that they want an abortion and should not have that choice made for them by the government. We intend on winning the election and start to pass laws that will help improve on women’s rights which will include on the right to have an abortion. Therefore it would eliminate closet abortions, and black market abortions. What women go through is much more consequential then what men go through and has many more consequences. Therefore if they get raped and end up pregnant, there is no way to “erase” what that man has done to her. So who is the government to say that she cannot have an abortion when the government hasn’t suffered what the woman has? This is the very first step to revolutionary changes in women’s rights which would bring equality closer into our view.
